Proclamation for Automotive Technology

Whereas The Driving School Association of the Americas, Inc., which is a nonprofit association of driving schools, driving educators and affiliate companies that exist and are dedicated to professional ethics, the highest quality education and automotive safety, does from time to time recognize outstanding achievement.

This association does believe in rewarding these individuals, companies and/or organizations which demonstrate the aforementioned qualities cited herein. We believe these outstanding qualities already exist for the betterment of the driver education industry and driver safety in general.

The companies and/or organizations cited herein have and/or are developing technologies which will aid in safer vehicles, reducing traffic collisions and the fatalities, which now exist on our roadways around the world. These specific companies/organizations that we recognize in alphabetical order are:

ABS Education Alliance
Continental Teves, Inc.
General Motors Corporation

In consideration of their individual and collective achievements we do hereby proclaim November 1, 1999 as the beginning of “National Automotive Technology Month”.

With the power vested in me as President and with the complete approval of the Board of Directors of The Driving School Association of the Americas, Inc., I do hereby sign this into effect.
