The DSAA Partnership in Safety Program

Formally, since 1973 and really with roots tracing back to 1958, The Driving School Association of the Americas has been the leader in the driver education and traffic safety industry.  With that role in mind and wanting to accomplish even more in the immediate and long range future of DSAA, we have created “The Partnership in Safety Program”. 

This program is an all-encompassing effort to create more extensive relationships on behalf of our cause(s).  These relationships will be with government agencies, legislative bodies, corporations and nonprofit organizations that will lead to better communication, a more complete understanding of and much greater results in reducing the carnage on the roadways of the world.  We clearly understand that the right to drive must be taken more seriously in North America and that it is the most serious health concern that faces our children today.

We will provide the most efficient, most cost effective and most direct marketing program for corporations that they have ever had as a result of their interaction with us in this program.  That is only the beginning of what we can and will do while being a part of this concerted effort.  For government agencies we will assist in research efforts and studies, while providing them with the finest monitoring program driver education and traffic safety has ever seen.  With Federal, State and Provincial legislative bodies we will support and create legislation that is broader in scope and better addresses the problems of driving and interacting with drivers on our roadways.  Finally, we will act as a liaison and intermediary for and on behalf of nonprofit organizations that will allow their efforts to be better focused and bring greater results as well.

The campaign for “The Partnership in Safety Program” is beginning now and we will be focused on its success.  This will be a long-term effort and not just a short-term goal and although some results will appear as it comes together, it will take time for all of our dreams to be realized.  This vision and the program we will use, is of the highest caliber and our commitment to it is one that will not waiver.  To ultimately have our roadways free of carnage and save many more lives from these tragic circumstances will take a long-term interest and investment by all of our partners.  We know they are aware of this and the time has come for this task at hand.
